AIT believes
that training without a job in mind is training without a purpose. When
appropriate AIT organizes skills upgrades and vocational training
courses to be delivered at the AIT training centre so that candidates
selected for international employment are better prepared and qualified
before leaving Bangladesh. All courses are delivered in Dhaka by
qualified Australian trainers employed by Australian Registered Training
Organisations. Courses comply strictly with Australian VET standards and
the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF).
The AIT
facility is a platform for the delivery of training excellence by
international professionals. Awards earned by Bangladeshi students will
be recognized in Australia and other host countries .This meticulous
approach ensures that AIT clients will achieve maximum employment
benefits and may gain valuable credit points for entry to Australian
universities or vocational training institutes.
AIT takes a practical approach to training and courses are carefully
chosen to ensure that their content has the highest relevance to
achieving the key objective of matching training with employment. For
example in 2005 AIT facilitated the delivery of an Australian
Certificate III in Aged Care Work for a group of 17 experienced and
already highly qualified Bangladeshi nursing professionals. The course
was delivered in Dhaka by Australian Registered Training Organisation,
Age Concern Pty Ltd
(RTO21611).
The training was delivered by experienced Australian Registered Nurses
qualified and registered as trainers to deliver this course. All
elements of the course were delivered in English and additional English
training was a key component of the course package.
All candidates attending this course successfully completed the training
in November 2005 and AIT has subsequently facilitated employment for all
members of this group in Australia.
International employers are welcome to utilize the AIT training centre
to achieve similar positive outcomes for both candidates and employers.
